Here’s The Problem

  • SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Two suspects were arrested in connection with a shooting on Union Street in Springfield early Tuesday morning.
  • At around 1:55 a.m. officers were called to the area of the 400 block of Union Street for a ShotSpotter activation. Upon arrival, officers observed three people near the intersection of Union Street and Walnut Street and stopped to speak with them
  • Police say that a firearm could be seen coming out of one individual’s hoodie pocket and detained 21-year-old Rashae McKinney of Springfield. Officers seized a loaded ghost gun with 9 rounds of ammunition capable of holding 17 rounds and additional loose ammunition. Where are the Attempted Murder Charges?
  • There is not a single gun law on the books that this individual obeyed.
  • Both Men simply did not care about the laws.
  • Made his own gun… Guess he didn’t read the law
  • They were Drug Dealers!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • WHY WERE THEY ON THE STREETS! That’s the Problem!

  • Brian Grant is charged with the following:
  • Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License
  • Discharging a Firearm within 500 Feet of a Building
  • Carrying a Firearm without a License
  • Resisting Arrest
  • Possession of a Class B Drug
  • Possession of a Class E Drug
  • Receiving Stolen Property Less than $1200
  • Rashae McKinney is charged with the following:
  • Carrying a Loaded Large Capacity Firearm on a Public Way
  • Discharging a Firearm within 500 Feet of a Building
  • Carrying a Firearm without a License
  • Resisting Arrest
  • Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card
